£50,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle + Progression

Amazing role for a Health and Safety Manager to join a dynamic contractor who are specialists in demolition where you will work with a range of commercial and residential projects, whilst holding a vital role and progressing up the business.

Established almost half a century ago, this company offer full demolition, soft stripping and Asbestos removal services to a number of blue chip clients. They are thriving due to their diverse client bases working with private clients as well as having framework agreements with local authorities nationwide where they work on a mixture of both residential and commercial projects. They are now looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join the business and implement new strategies and procedures whilst ensuring best practice is being adhered to.
This is a great opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager with a construction background to join a well-established demolition contractor where you will work on a variety of projects within the construction industry and hold a pivotal role within the business.
In this role you will lead the Health and Safety aspect of projects. You will be tasked with conducting site audits, creating Health and safety procedures throughout the company, writing up reports, attending meeting with management to discuss health and safety matters , assisting site teams with health and safety training and dealing with any health and safety related issues on sites.
The ideal candidate will have good health and safety knowledge with previous experience in the construction sector. You will head up the Health and Safety department in the company and work closely with Site teams and Directors.

The person:
Previous experience in a Health and Safety role
NEBOSH or equivalent
Good Construction knowledge
Good communication and written skills
