Birmingham, covering sites in surrounding areas & across the UK

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension + Van/Tools + Flexibility + No Weekends

Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical/Electrical Field Service engineer to join a rapidly growing company, with ambitious future plans. This role includes extensive training and has a pathway for progression to become an industry expert.

This company specialises in a range of industrial machinery, including plasma/fibre lasers, CNC machines, CO2 lasers etc. They are very forward thinking, and continue to progress, growing 20% year on year for the last 5 years. With a multi-million pound turnover, they are now looking to take another step towards their ambitious growth plans.

You will be responsible for attending customer sites across the UK, servicing the machines, fault-finding and repairing electrical and mechanical components.

The ideal candidate will have a good experience working with electrical components such as drive systems and wiring, and also mechanical components such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, bearings etc. Any knowledge of machinery/CNC machines/fibre lasers is a bonus, but not essential. The Role

  • Travelling to customer sites, UK wide
  • Servicing, faultfinding electrical and mechanical components of machinery
  • Reporting back to site
  • £35,000 £45,000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension + Van/Tools + Flexibility + No Weekends

The Person

  • Field Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer/MultiSkilled Engineer
  • Faultfinding capabilities
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, motors, bearings etc
  • Sound Electrical and Mechanical background
