Field Engineer (Simulation / Visual Display Systems)
$33-34/hr + Per Diem + Paid Travel Time + 3 Weeks PTO + 401(k) + Medical, Dental & Vision + Cell Phone
Orlando, FL (80% travel across the USA - trips of 2-3 weeks)

On offer is a field-based role where all your travel time is paid, per diem is covered and you will receive structured product training including a trip to Norway - all with the variety and autonomy that comes from working on complex visual display systems across the US.
This company is a specialist in immersive simulation display systems used by the US Department of Defense and major federal contractors. A smaller, close-knit team where you will have direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop broad technical skills across mechanical, electrical, and computer systems. They invest heavily in developing their people - new engineers are partnered with an experienced buddy from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to become a genuine technical expert in a niche and highly specialised field. You will be deployed on-site across the USA to survey, build, and commission visual display systems - covering everything from the mechanical build through to electrical integration and image calibration. No two projects are the same, and your technical knowledge will grow rapidly.
This role would suit a field engineer or technical specialist who wants to develop specialist expertise, earn well on the road, and be recognised as a go-to technical expert.
The Role:
- Deploy across the USA on simulation visual display system installations (trips of 2-3 weeks)
- All travel time paid, per diem at IRS rate, and hotel covered on weekends
- Mainly electrical work with some mechanical
The Candidate:
- Background in electrical, computer, or electro-mechanical engineering
- Comfortable working on-site and travelling extensively across the USA
- US citizenship required
