Field Application Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

Excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong knowledge of optics technology looking to join an international manufacturer of Semiconductor equipment. This opportunity will allow you to work in the most advanced and competitive industries in Europe, you will be trained to be an expert with high tech tools and equipment.
This multinational company invents ground-breaking systems and solutions to manufacture semiconductors and other electronic components that are used by world leading technology companies that are used in thousands of products worldwide. They operate worldwide with sites across Europe and identify and improve performance for companies within their network.
In this role you will be heavily involved with different clients, providing technical support and working closely with them to train and assist with different projects as they are implemented at other sites. You also work closely with R&D in order to assist with implementing the best solutions for their customers. You will work with customers both in Italy and Overseas and be required to travel.
The ideal candidate will be a certified engineer or degree qualified in a field relating to Semiconductors/Optical technology or similar. Minimum one year experience in a similar high tech industry. This role requires domestic and European travel, therefore, an EU resident permit is required to be considered. Fluent English is required.

*Technical Support to clients and customers
*Management of different projects
*Pre-Sales Support
*Working closely with R&D
The Person:
*Certified Engineer or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or similar.
*Experience within a similar field - Optical Technology, Semiconductors, Wafer tech etc.
*Fluent English
*EU Citizen
