Engineering Team Leader (Groundworks / Formworks / Temporary Works)

£50,000 - £55,000 + Great Benefits Package + Healthcare + Company Bonus Scheme
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Design Engineer or existing Team Leader with experience in groundworks, formwork or temporary works design to step into a leadership role within a globally renowned organisation offering strong progression and the chance to work on major construction and infrastructure projects.

The role can be based from any of their regional offices across the UK and offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility while still working closely with experienced engineering teams.
In this role you will oversee and support a team of design engineers, providing technical guidance while producing temporary works, formwork and groundworks design solutions across a range of projects.
This position would suit either an experienced Engineering Team Leader or a Senior Design Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership role.
The Role:
- Lead and support a team of design engineers
- Produce temporary works, formwork and groundworks designs and drawings
- Undertake design checks and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Attend regional design meetings and project reviews when required
- Support project teams with technical solutions for complex construction challenges
The Person:
- Civil / Structural Engineering degree or similar
- Previous experience in a Design Engineer or Senior Design Engineer role
- Experience with groundworks, formwork systems or temporary works design
- CAD experience
- Leadership experience or ambition to step into a team leadership role
