Hardware Developer (Automotive Electronics) (m/f/d)

Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg

€60,000-€80,000 (depending on experience) + Holiday + Pension + Flexible working hours + Benefits

The specialist company are in the electronics sector and they manufacture products throughout, the US, China and parts of Europe. As a result of consistent growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Hardware Developer in order to help the creation of new technical concepts and for the expansion of this ever-growing business. It also boasts a range of highly skilled departments and teams that are well equipped for the present but also the future. As well as this, structured training will be provided, and this will help you develop both in your career and as an engineer.

In this role you will be developing sensors for the automotive industry. As well as this, you will be working closely with customers and the sales team to meet requirements and to figure out what development can be possible to help the business grow. Working closely with other departments you will analyse test results to improve the development of sensors on other projects.

The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a degree in the field of electronic engineering, mechatronics, physics or a similar discipline. You will also have experience in the electronics and automotive industry as well as having good German and English language skills.

The Role
*Developing sensors for the automotive field
*Be a contact for customers and suppliers in any technical related matter
*Work with the sales team to assess what is worth developing and what can be developed
*Contributing to the preserving the high technical levels of the company to keep it competitive in the automotive electronics market.
*Development of new products and concepts

The Candidate
*Degree qualified in the fields of electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics or a similar discipline
*At least 3 years experience in automotive electronics development
*Excellent technical knowledge on sensors
*German speaking and writing
*English language skills
