Exciting opportunity for an Electrically-biased Engineer to step into a new and key role within a brand new facility of a rapidly expanding manufacturing business that will offer the chance to build a long-term career and get heavily involved with the development of brand new processes and process improvement.


Do you have experience of Maintenance work in a Manufacturing or Production environment? Can you create and implement effective PPM schedules?


This company design and manufacture specialist construction materials, they have seen high demand and are planning to improve their manufacturing processes to keep up with demand and maintain a high quality product. They have recently undergone a huge investment into one of their manufacturing operations and as a result they need a new Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in the establishment and maintenance of this operation.


This role will play a key role in the establishment and implementation of maintenance procedures on a brand new production facility, playing a role in initial build and equipment commissioning. Following this you will be ensuring that all preventative maintenance is carried out effectively, planning and supervising shutdowns and participating in reliability works.


This role would ideally suit an Electricall-biased Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing background with experience of carrying out Process Improvements work on manufacturing equipment and processes.


The Role

* Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Days)
* Playing a key role in the establishment of maintenance procedures in a new facility
* Planning and supervising maintenance shutdowns
* Heavily involved with Process Improvement and Reliability works
* Monday-Friday Days Role
* £38,000-£39,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Progression + New Site + Benefits


The Person


* Experience of Maintenance work in a Manufacturing or Production environment
* Able to create and implement PPM schedules
* Electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or higher
* Understanding of Continuous Improvement
