£60,000 - £65,000 (Experience dependent)
1 year fixed term contract


Head office based in Northampton shire

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts manager with commercial, leisure, educational, hotel and/or retail construction experience to join a well-established company, with a recognised name in the market. The company is in a period of high growth looking to propel their plans for further growth and success.

They offer high end refurbishment/fitout services to clients nationwide. Due to their success and increased workload, they are looking for a Contracts manager that can meet the higher demand and take them to the next stages of success. The company actively encourage the development of their staff and pride themselves on a dynamic and supportive culture.

The role provides a remote working opportunity split between site, working from home & the office & is also ongoing for the right candidate. They are looking for a candidate that is open to working in different locations covering projects across the UK.

The role:

The successful candidate must be computer literate and able to undertake the following tasks: -
- Manage and update a workload tracker
- Attend site scoping meeting
- Undertake site surveys
- Be accountable for full site management from site set up through to completion
- Preconstruction set up of projects including the co-ordination of consultants and suppliers
- Compiling site safety files, CPHSPs and RAMs
- Completing material requisitions / Coordinating trades / Arranging Transport
- Undertake regular site visits
- Weekly reporting against programme, quality and cost including H&S

The Person:

  • Construction experience
  • 4+ years contract management experience
  • Commercial, fitout, educational, supermarket, leisure, hotel or retail construction experience
  • Trades background beneficial
  • Open to working across the UK if required
