£25'000 (OTE £40'000+) + Training + Holidays + Pension

This well-established company specialise in the design and installation of domestic and commercial solar PV projects across the South West and nationwide. The business are currently thriving as the UK strives towards net zero carbon emissions. As a result, they are now looking to expand their commercial sales team to drive sales and facilitate future success.


In this role, the Sales Executive will be responsible for converting commercial Solar PV enquires into new business through a consultative selling approach. You will establish the viability of projects, produce a pre-survey quote following a desktop analysis, travel to site to complete surveys, produce a final quotation and close the deal. This is an office based role with regular travel to sites, mainly South West but some nationwide travel and stay aways required.


The ideal candidate will have a proven background in commercial or agricultural sales. Experience within the commercial solar PV sector is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.

The role:
*Respond to incoming enquiries regarding commercial solar PV
*Work with customers on a 1-1 basis to consult on their needs and assess the viability of their project
*Use information given along with an assessment of the site from Google maps to formulate bespoke quotations using sales CRM software
*Visit sites to carry out surveys and produce final quotations
*Consultative, technical selling approach to close the deal
*Cooperate closely with operations and engineering team through handover and installation
*Office based role with regular travel to sites across the South West and occasionally nationwide (stay aways sometimes required)

The person:
*Proven experience of technical sales within the commercial or agricultural sector
*Experience within the commercial solar PV sector is highly advantageous
*Technically minded
*Excellent communication skills
*Computer literate
*Full UK Driving license
