2 Cabling Teams (Engineers)

Are you a Cabling Engineer, familiar with delivery and installation of Fibre Optic Cabling in the UK, looking for their next opportunity working for a market-leading construction company on an extensive, contracted role?
My client, a telecoms and power expert, is currently recruiting for two Cabling Engineers to start as soon as possible to help with a sudden upturn of work, which is looking to remain frequent.
My client, having celebrated their tenth anniversary as a business last year, are based in telecoms and power supplies. They aim to provide infrastructure solutions for businesses and communities, building and maintaining telecoms and power networks in UK and Ireland. Having just been awarded some very promising and long-running contracts, they are facing a high growth period over the next few years with more work expected to come in.
Work will include testing rodding and roping of UG ducts, traffic management, tree cutting, producing SLD's and BT duct diagrams. Workers will be expected to be comfortable working in confined spaces as well as outdoors in all-weathers. Applicants should expect to be working towards deadlines and having to travel to a variety of different sites between the areas of Lincoln and Cambridge.
The successful candidates will be efficient and resourceful Cabling Engineers looking to utilize their skills and experience and engage with an exciting opportunity with a brilliant firm. Candidates will be expected to possess their first-aid, as well as a driving license and MT003 accreditations. A valid NRSWA, being NOPS registered, and familiarity manual handling are also pat of the roles essential criteria. It would be also desirable if candidates were openreach overhead jointing and cabling accredited, and had a valid DBS check.
- Cabling Engineer (x2); Fibre optic cabling, rodding and roping of UD ducts, traffic management, tree cutting, produce SLD's. BT duct diagrams.
- 12 month freelance contract, paid via price work. Monday to Friday 9hour shift.
