Accounts Assistant
Southampton, Hybrid Working
Up to £25,000 + WFH + Training

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking to kick-start their career with a rapidly-growing and market leading company within the IT, Technology and Telecoms space.

The company aims to provide high-quality office based solutions tailored to individual customer requirements. Traditionally their skills lie in managed printed services, however they have transformed the company by acquiring a broad range of businesses which sees them offering services within Technology, IT and Telecoms.

Within this role you will join the Finance Department where you will demonstrate excellent Accounting and bookkeeping practices. Additionally you will be thorough, methodical and self-disciplined, as well as communicating effectively between a range of different departments.

Previous accounting experience is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have some experience of SAGE 200.

The Role:

  • Preparation and distribution of invoices and bank balance tracker
  • Balance Sheets
  • Basis Analysis of management information
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Support the Management Accountant and Financial Director

The Person:

  • Experience in Accounting /Bookkeeping
  • Ability to prioritise and project manage
  • Friendly, approachable and flexible
  • Excellent communicator
