Grid Connection Manager (Renewables)

€60,000 - €80,000
Do you have grid connection experience and are looking for an opportunity in a young, dynamic, and rapidly growing company? The company has recently taken on 23 new projects in the Hamburg area so you will play a key role in making sure these are successfully integrated into the power grid.
The ideal person will have grid connection experience in Germany who can hit the ground running with an autonomous attitude. German speakers are required for this position as you will be required to speak with Distribution Network Operators.
The role itself is autonomous in nature, with a mixture of onsite and home office work to oversee grid connections and ensure technical requirements are met for a smooth project connection.
The Role:
- Manage the grid connection process for assigned PV projects, ensuring compliance with technical regulations and DNO requirements.
- Liaise with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to secure grid capacity and negotiate connection agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, engineering) to ensure project designs meet grid connection requirements.
The Person:
- Proven experience in grid connection for renewable energy projects, particularly solar PV.
- Strong understanding of grid regulations, technical aspects of power systems, and connection processes.
- Excellent German communication skills
