Control Systems Engineer

Dunfermline area, Scotland (commutable from: Edinburgh, Fife, Falkirk, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Inverkeithing)

£40,000-£50,000 + Benefits + Flexible Start time + WFH opportunities (2 days/week)

37.5 hours week, Mon-Fri , flexible start/end times (8-4.30 or 9-5.30)

Are you a Controls Engineer, looking for a pivotal role for a highly innovative company where you will work in a small experienced team on the development of control systems for an innovative range of products?

This is an excellent opportunity for both training and progression, and to be involved on the full product life cycle, assisting in developing ground-breaking solutions for the offshore height safety industry.

There is some flexibility on start/end times and the role is Mon-Fri. 2 Days/week working from home option after initial training period.


On offer is a varied role where you will be involved in working both on new product development and support for existing products, with the opportunity to be involved in the full product life cycle.

This role would suit an experienced Control Systems Engineer with experience in a similar role.

The Role:

  1. Full time permanent role with a fast growing SME manufacturer supplying into the offshore industries
  2. Control system design and implementation
  3. Development, testing and verification of Siemens PLC and HMI software



The Person:

  1. Relevant Engineering degree
  2. Working experience as a Controls Engineer or Automation Engineer
  3. UK driving licence and eligible to work in the UK permanently
